We are redesigning the NRPF Network website to make it easier for you to find support and information online.
We’d like to invite you to take a survey and share your feedback so we can make sure the new website works better for you.
The survey should take about 10 to 20 minutes. It is open until 14 June.
Emergency support under section 98 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 can be provided to a person who has claimed asylum and appears to be destitute whilst they await a decision on their application for section 95 support.
Typically, accommodation will be full-board, such as in an Initial Accommodation centre, hostel, or hotel, and financial support will usually only be provided via an ASPEN card once section 95 support is granted.
Section 98 support will be withdrawn following a decision on 95 support. If a request for section 95 support is refused then section 98 support can end the next day.
For more information on Section 98 support please see the Asylum Support Appeals Project factsheet or the Right to Remain Toolkit.
