Alerts, Actions and Queries

It is great to keep the number of notifications on the Home Page low by accepting updates / closing cases when involvement ends.

  • A closure required alert means the person has recourse, it may therefore not need to be open on the database? You can close the case from the closure page of the record when your involvement ends.
  • The immigration update means the Home Office has checked the case, accepting the update from the immigration page clears the notification
  • 1000 day cases are a priority cohort, are we capturing all the long-standing cases open to your local authority? See the list from the Home Page to check
  • The display of cases and alerts is in order for my local authority? Great – no need for any action!

Not getting updates from the Home Office? Getting updates depends on you creating new cases and then raising Queries against existing cases after the first status check has been provided.

Please also encourage NRPF Connect users to allocate cases to themselves, this then helps the Home Office to know who the main contact is whilst allowing caseloads and notifications to be filtered by ‘my cases’ or ‘allocated user’.

You can log-in to NRPF Connect to ‘view’ the corresponding cases from the Home Page and make changes if needed.

Monthly Reminder

Admin users (those who can view reports and manage accounts for their local authority) will receive monthly reminders via email showing the alerts above.

The NRPF Connect ID numbers for any 1000-day cases that have already been granted recourse but remain open on NPRF Connect for over 6 months since recourse was granted will be provided  and these must be urgently reviewed and closed as appropriate.

Get in touch if you or your team need any support using NRPF Connect.
