Child performance licence

A child up to the age of 16 may need a licence if they take part in certain events, such as films, plays, or sporting events, where people pay to watch. Find out more and apply.

To apply, fill out our online application form and upload the following: 

  • a copy of the child’s birth certificate or passport 
  • a passport-sized
  • photo of the child performance risk assessment (the organisation or agency you are working with should have this) 
  • child protection policy (the organisation or agency you are working with should have this) 
  • a letter from the school if the child will miss school  
  • chaperone licences, if professional chaperones are involved.
